Flash Fiction Essay Writing Competition
The winning entry, written by a Douglas Academy pupil, will be printed in the Milngavie & Bearsden Herald during Milngavie Week.
Theme: “Milngavie – past, present, future”

Primary Six Art Exhibition
All Primary Six pupils in Milngavie schools will have their artwork displayed in shop windows throughout the precinct during Milngavie Week.
Theme: “What makes Milngavie special?”

Photography Competition

Free Entry
Venue: Finalists displayed in Tesco; winners shown on precinct notice boards.
Run by Milngavie and Bearsden Camera Club and open to all ages. Entries could be taken on a mobile phone or camera. Cash prizes awarded, including a junior category.

Spot the Error Trail

Free Entry
A family‑friendly detective challenge: find the errors hidden in 20 shop windows around Milngavie.
Entry Forms: Available from Ruby Red and Elba Gallery.
Return Deadline: 19th June.
Correct entries will be entered into a prize draw for two £20 vouchers.
