Classic Car Show FREE
Time: 10.00am – 5.00pm
Venue: Milngavie Precinct
Over 100 cars and a wide range of stalls and activities and food throughout the day.

Duck Race in aid of charity
Time 10.00am - Launch at the bridge at Gavin’s Mill at 3.00pm.
 2000 ducks race down the Allander to Lennox Park. £1 a duck from Allander Rotary’s gazebo in the town centre or in advance. 

First Responders – CPR and Defibrillator Demonstration FREE
Members of the Milngavie First Responders, following Scottish Ambulance Service training, will demonstrate CPR and the use of a Defibrillator with Training Aids.

Friendship House Coffee and a Chat
Venue: Friendship House, 17 Park Road. Open for tea, coffee, cakes, home baking and a chance to chat.

Music and Flowers Festival FREE
Venue: St Andrew’s Scottish Episcopal Church, Park Road.
The church will be open for a varied programme of musical items performed by local young people . Flowers provided by local churches. Voluntary offering to Water Aid.

Flash Fiction Essay Writing Competition FREE
500 word essay on ‘Me!’. The winning essay, from Douglas Academy will be printed in the M&B Herald during Milngavie Week – a published author!

Primary Six Art Exhibition FREE
Primary 6 pupils in all Milngavie Primary Schools completed an art piece called “Selfie!” Every pupil’s work will be displayed in shop windows in the precinct during Milngavie Week . Art materials donated to the schools, prizes for the best three entries.

Photography Competition FREE
Venue: Displays of finalists in Tesco and the winner on Milngavie precinct notice board. Entries on any subject by camera or phone by 11th May and winners of cash prizes are chosen and displayed

Spot the Error FREE
Be a detective (of any age!) and Spot the Errors in 20 Milngavie shop windows. FREE entry forms from Baxter’s Newsagent, Ruby Red or Elba Gallery to be returned by Tuesday 11th June and correct entries will be put in a draw for two £20 voucher prizes.
